Emergency Housing Program

    Emergency Housing Initiative Proposal

Since funding is currently unavailable to sustain the Emergency Housing Program, Catapult Outreach is pivoting to a 2025 Initiative to rebuild financial support and relaunch the program when funding is secured. The new 2025 Emergency Housing Initiative will focus on fundraising, sponsorships, and community partnerships to ensure a sustainable model before reopening emergency housing services.

2025 Initiative Goals & Strategic Plan

    1. Fundraising & Sponsorship Campaign

Objective: Secure funding for the Emergency Housing Program before reopening.

    • Sponsorship Drive: Engage corporations, local businesses, and philanthropists to fund emergency housing costs.
    • Community Giving Program: Encourage monthly donations from individuals.
    • Grant Applications: Apply for government and private grants related to domestic violence and crisis housing.
    • Fundraising Events: Organize charity auctions, benefit concerts, and online crowdfunding.
    • Emergency Shelter Sponsorship Program: Individuals or organizations can sponsor emergency stays for survivors.

📌 Goal: Raise $100,000 by Q4 2025 to sustain at least 12 months of emergency housing services.

    2. Temporary Resource Redirection

Since housing cannot be provided immediately, Catapult Outreach will:

    • Refer survivors to alternative emergency shelters through a network of partners.
    • Continue offering crisis intervention, counseling, and safety planning.
    • Provide transportation assistance to other available shelters.

📌 Goal: Ensure all survivors receive alternative support while funding is restored.

    3. Rebuilding the Emergency Housing Program for 2026

    • Pilot Phase (Q4 2025 – Q1 2026): Secure temporary housing solutions via vouchers.
    • Long-Term Strategy (2026+): Establish dedicated emergency housing units.
    • Scalability: Expand program capacity based on financial sustainability.

📌 Goal: Fully operational emergency housing program by mid-2026.
